A Memorable Family Retreat at Manoir du GuernMy family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Manoir du Guern during our road trip through Brittany, and I must share our experience. The property, surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds and a peaceful moat, offered a welcome escape. One of the highlights was the exceptional indoor pool. My children enjoyed their daily swims, while I relished the chance to unwind in the sauna. Bernard and Freddy, our hosts, truly embodied inclusivity—constantly providing us with local tips that enhanced our stay. They even advised us on nearby hiking trails perfect for our family and suggested delightful fishing spots that my partner and kids thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was a treat, featuring homemade delicacies that catered to everyone’s tastes. Should we find ourselves in Brittany again, we would gladly return to this hidden gem.
